A Barrel is a type of storage container. It is often used at times as an Improvised Bathtub. Usually water is poured into it and the barrel is held up over a fire where the water can be heated. This is very common in poor environment's with limited supplies.

July 7th, 1990	"Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might"
	Son Goku and Son Gohan are shown Bath Bonding in the barrel at their house.
December 15th, 1994	"Ranma 1/2 OVA episode 7"
	Akane Tendo bathes in a barrel.
December 20th, 1995	"Dragon Ball Z episode 287"
	Son Goku, Son Goten and Trunks have a bath in the barrel at Goku's house. While Goku is easily beating them in a playful fight, Goten and Trunks both get out of the barrel and fuse into Gotenks and get back into the Barrel. The barrel gets destroyed from the commotion as Goku turns into a Super Saiyan.
April 20th, 1996	"Tenchi Muyo! In Love"
	Kiyone Makibi is shown bathing in a barrel in the first Tenchi Muyo Film.
September 24th, 1999	"Amazing Nurse Nanako episode 2"
	Nanako Shichigusa bathes in one in the second episode of Amazing Nurse Nanako.

	Negi Springfield bathes in a barrel after getting some ninja training from Kaede Nagase. Kaede Nagase then Strips naked and gets into the barrel with him. This seems to be Kaede Nagase's way of bathing during the times she is camping for her ninja training.
February 16th, 2005	"Mahou Sensei Negima! episode 7"
	Negi Springfield bathes in a barrel after getting some ninja training from Kaede Nagase. Kaede Nagase then gets into the barrel with him but unlike the manga she is wearing a Swimsuit.

April 11th, 2010	"Arakawa Under the Bridge episode 2"
	In the second episode of Arakawa Under the Bridge, Nino is shown Towel Bathing in a barrel in public. Her towel is pink. Afterwards Kou Ichinomiya gets in it and has a bath.
July 8th, 2010	"Strike Witches 2 episode 4"
	The main character girl and Francesca Lucchini share a barrel while Charlotte E. Yeager has a barrel to herself.
March 25th, 2012	"Beelzebub episode 60"
	After the main characters (Oga and Beel) go missing, they reflect that they took 10 different baths in a health club in the demon world, and one of the places they are shown bathing (besides a hot spring, hot tub, pond and waterfall) is a pair of barrels.
March 25th, 2012	"Mirai Nikki episode 23"
	Yuno Gasai has a bath in a barrel while wearing a Swimsuit. Later at night, she bathes in the barrel again but with Yukiteru Amano.
